6. Maroush Restaurants
Top Arabic (Lebanese) restaurants, with excellent wines. Very extensive menus. It can be good to eat a large selection of starters (mezzes) and move straight to sweets.

Excellent barbecued quail (firri) main course, with garlicky yogurt sauce. Best sweets are the lovely Arabic pastries (baklawa, katayef, etc.), with honey, nuts, dried fruit; also good milky pudding (mouhallabia). Excellent Lebanese wines (Ksara, Kefraya). Lots of veggie options.

We prefer Seymour Place, quieter, nice ambience; some tables outside in summer.
